Products designed by fans are proving to be a growing success for the LEGO Group. Following last years release of the LEGO sets in the ‘Hobby Train’ and the ‘Modular Houses’ themes, LEGO Factory now launches the first two sets of the new ‘Space’ theme. The two sets are designed uniquely by enthusiastic LEGO Fans.
The LEGO Factory Space Exclusive sets are unlike any other LEGO sets. They are designed to combine popular classic space models with interesting new aesthetics and brilliant building techniques.
Together the sets re-live the much loved play theme of good versus evil in a classic space environment and are the perfect launch pad for LEGO lovers to create their own models. The sets are also great as standalone models.
The Star Justice set is designed by lifetime LEGO fan Chris Giddens from Georgia, USA. A set of brave and honourable heroes, it's Star Justice's duty to protect vital energy containers. No mission to Mars, Pluto or beyond is safe unless Star Justice stands against evil forces such as the Space Skulls.
The Space Skulls set is designed by lifetime LEGO fan Mark Sandlin from Georgia, USA. The evil and sneaky Space Skulls have discovered that they have their own dark uses for the energy cells. The Star Justice troopers need to watch out because Space Skulls attack suddenly and will try many tricks to try to get what they want.
“The Space sets are great as they are; however should one need an additional space craft or two to bolster one’s battle strength, LEGO Factory also offers the opportunity to design and buy your own unique LEGO space creations. Download the LEGO Digital Designer 3D building tool and you have unlimited options for extending your set. In addition, the website offers content to inspire everyone, either in their quest for galactic domination or the search for universal justice,” says Helene Venge, director of LEGO Factory.
