Eva Berneke appointed to LEGO Group board
At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the LEGO Group on May 27, 2011, Eva Berneke, Senior Executive Vice President at TDC A/S, the Danish telecoms company, was appointed as a director of LEGO A/S, the LEGO Group parent company.
At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the LEGO Group on May 27, 2011, Eva Berneke, Senior Executive Vice President at TDC A/S, the Danish telecoms company, was appointed as a director of LEGO A/S, the LEGO Group parent company.
Eva Berneke is 42, qualified as an engineer from the Technical University of Denmark, and holds an MBA from INSEAD. In 2007 she joined TDC A/S as Chief Strategy Officer from a position as partner with McKinsey & Co.
Eva Berneke is currently Senior Executive Vice President at TDC and President of TDC Wholesale. She is also a board member of both Copenhagen Business School and Schibsted, the Scandinavian media group.
Eva Berneke replaces Caroline Søeborg Ahlefeldt‑Laurvig‑Bille, who wanted to scale down her boardroom activities for a period.
Caroline Søeborg Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille has been a member of the board of the LEGO Group since 2008.
