Our aspirations are derived from our heritage and are deeply rooted in our culture and company values foundation, the LEGO® Brand Framework. Our brand promises, especially our Planet Promise to guide our sustainability approach and our five strategic ambitions. To enable us to achieve these ambitions, we have defined a broader set of tangible goals, which we work with internally and report on externally.
All employees are encouraged and empowered to make a positive impact. We strive to integrate sustainability and responsibility efforts; make them easier, stronger and more value-adding to the way we operate, whether this is for our Product Safety or within Environment, Social Responsibility or Corporate Governance & Business Conduct.
We signed the United Nations Global Compact in 2003, the first company in our industry to do so. Since then, we have been striving to embed the 10 principles in our business and are continuously improving our approach and reporting on the sustainability agenda. Read our Progress Reports.
