The LEGO Ambassador Program is a LEGO community based volunteer program made up of representatives from LEGO User Groups globally.
The mission of the LEGO Ambassadors is to work together with the LEGO Group in all areas which concern the worldwide LEGO community and be the voice of their respective LEGO User Group towards the LEGO Group.
The LEGO Ambassador Program has currently 88 members from over 30 different countries all over the world. Every 6 months, LEGO User Groups can add, withdraw or change their representative to the LEGO Ambassador program.
The main contact for the LEGO Ambassadors within the LEGO Group is the LEGO Community team. The LEGO Community Team will to the best of their abilities respond to specific questions and ensure that input and feedback from LEGO Ambassadors is delivered to relevant people within the LEGO Group.
All members of the LEGO Ambassador Program are expected to exemplify the program fundamentals of active participation, enthusiasm, and professionalism towards the public, other fans and the LEGO Group.
LEGO Ambassadors are active contributors to the world-wide LEGO community by engaging in activities such as:
- Helping extend and improve the connections between the worldwide LEGO community and the LEGO Group
- Actively cooperate with both LEGO employees and LEGO User Groups
- Helping the LEGO Group keeping up with user driven activities going on across the LEGO community
The 2012 LEGO Ambassador Group consists of the following members:
