The LEGO Inside Tour Team

What is the LEGO Inside Tour?

The LEGO Inside Tour is a unique LEGO experience, which is often referred to as a “once in a lifetime experience” by past participants. As a participant you are invited inside Ole Kirk Christiansen’s original house with the exciting exhibition of LEGO sets and models that can be dated all the way back to 1932. You will meet the LEGO designers who are ready to meet you; they will introduce you to their daily work at the LEGO Group and provide you with a building experience unlike anything else.

Experienced employees will guide you around the LEGO factories in Billund and specially designated employees will introduce you to their areas and any current projects. You will gain an insight into the unique culture and strong values that characterise the company.

LEGO Inside Tour also goes past the LEGO staff shop.

The LEGO Inside Tour Award Show is held on Thursday afternoon, featuring the red carpet and highly-sought after prizes, and you are naturally the guest of honour.

On the last day there is a guided tour behind the scenes at the LEGOLAND Park followed by a closing ceremony, at which you will received a unique gift produced in close cooperation with Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen especially for this year’s LEGO Inside Tour participants.

How do I register?

Use this page to register via a link which directs you to an online registration form. All you need is a stable Internet connection.

All communication concerning the registration process takes place in English.

The registration form consists of the following fields:

-       First name

-       Middle name

-       Last name

-       Date of birth

-       E-mail

-       Mobile phone (daytime telephone number where we can reach you)

-       Country

-       Nationality

If you want to register several people, you must ensure that you complete one form per person before submitting your registration.

If you are registering on behalf of someone else and not yourself, it is important that you complete the form with the information of the person you want to register. It is possible to replace the e-mail address and telephone number with your own if you want the communication with us to go through you.

All registrations will be recorded in a waiting list which operates on a first come, first serve basis. You will be contacted by e-mail from the LEGO Inside Tour Team within 14 days if your participation in the LEGO Inside Tour can be confirmed.

It is therefore of utmost importance that the e-mail address you specify in your registration is correct.

What does it cost to participate?

This unique LEGO experience costs DKK 13,000 per person for all ages and the price includes:

Accommodation from Tuesday to Thursday at Hotel LEGOLAND® www.hotellegoland.dk

Rooms at the LEGO Inside Tour hotel are reserved from Tuesday to give the participants a chance to check in with plenty of time before the official programme starts.

All meals are included from Wednesday afternoon to Friday afternoon. If you check in to the hotel on Tuesday, breakfast is of course served on Wednesday morning, however lunch is not included and you can eat wherever you want before me meet for the Inside Tour program.

We are happy to assist in making hotel reservations for family members who are accompanying you to Billund but who are not participating in the LEGO Inside Tour. Payment for this takes place directly with hotel LEGOLAND on departure.

We naturally provide all transport during the tour but you are responsible for your travel to and from Billund.

Payment for the LEGO Inside Tour is scheduled for no later than 6 weeks before tour starts. We accept both credit card payment through our customer service and bank transactions. Detailed payment information will be communicated to all participants.

Can I cancel my participation?

You can of course cancel your participation. If you have paid for the tour at the time of your cancellation, we will refund your payment. If you need to cancel within 6 weeks before tour starts we will deduct 15% from your refund.

Can anyone participate?

Anyone over the age of 7 can participate in LEGO Inside Tour and regardless of whether you are coming as an individual, a couple, friends or family groups. What we all have in common is an interest and pleasure in LEGO products.

The age restriction of 7 years and above is due to the safety standards at the LEGO factories.

Children aged 7–14 must be accompanied by a paying and responsible guardian.

All communication at LEGO Inside Tour takes place in English so it is obviously important that you can understand the language as a minimum.

How do I get to Billund?

Participants are responsible for arranging travel to and from Billund.

Billund has an international airport and Hotel LEGOLAND is only a few minutes away by car. There is easy access to taxis from the airport.

For more information, please visit: www.billundlufthavn.dk

You can also take the train from Copenhagen and change to a bus, e.g. in Vejle or Kolding.

All the best wishes
